Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Neighbourhood Housing Officer. As a key member of our Neighbourhoods Housing Team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional housing services to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Neighbourhood Patch Management: Manage a designated Neighbourhood patch, providing tenancy-neutral housing and estate management services to residents.
  • Proactive Hazard Management: Identify and address potential hazards and fire risk assessment actions to ensure a safe living environment for residents.
  • Lettings and Tenancy Support: Work towards meeting council and national BVPI targets by efficiently letting properties and providing general tenancy support to residents to prevent homelessness.
  • Case Management: Effectively case manage residents with additional needs, providing tailored support to sustain their tenancies.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Engage with residents, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of housing services and effective communication.

Requirements:

  • Excellent Customer Service Skills: Provide exceptional customer care to residents, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Build strong relationships with residents, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
  • Proactive and Organized: Demonstrate a proactive and organized approach to managing a Neighbourhood patch, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Housing Services: Possess a good understanding of housing services, including tenancy management, lettings, and estate management.
