Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Neighbourhood Housing Officer. As a key member of our Neighbourhoods Housing Team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional housing services and managing a Neighbourhood patch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Neighbourhood Patch Management: Manage the patch to an exceptionally high standard, engaging with and involving residents in the management of their Neighbourhood through regular estate inspections.
  • Proactive Hazard Management: Pro-actively deal with all potential hazards and Fire Risk Assessment actions.
  • Lettings and Tenancy Management: Ensure the speedy lettings of property in line with the councils' and national BVPI targets. Support and sustain tenancies to prevent homelessness through the provision of general tenancy support to residents to help sustain their tenancy.
  • Case Management: Case manage residents with additional needs.

Requirements:

  • Highly motivated and customer-focused individual with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of housing management principles and practices.
