About this role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Tower Hamlets extra care services as a Relief Support Worker, where you will play a vital role in empowering individuals to improve their quality of life and realise their hopes and dreams.
As a Relief Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, person-centred support to our service users, promoting their independence and community engagement. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement tailored support plans that meet the unique needs and aspirations of each individual.
To succeed in this role, you will need to be a calm, resourceful, and energetic individual with well-honed skills in positive communication and engagement. You will be able to demonstrate unconditional positive regard for our service users and support them to maintain a healthy state of wellbeing, mentally, physically, and emotionally.
You will work in a flexible manner, on a roster basis, which will include evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins. Previous experience in a similar role is essential. As a Relief Support Worker, you will have access to our free app, which allows you to pick up shifts in any area of the country and provides information on the service and shifts.
