Canary Wharf, Greater London, United Kingdom Creative Support Full time

We are seeking a caring and dedicated individual to join our team as a Female Extra Care Support Worker at Creative Support. Located just a 3-minute walk from Mile End, our service offers a convenient location with easy access to local amenities.

The ideal candidate will possess advanced skills in positive communication and engagement, demonstrating unconditional positive regard for our service users. They will support individuals to maintain their wellbeing – mentally, physically, and emotionally – and empower them to achieve their life goals.

As a successful candidate, you will receive a comprehensive induction program, including a Level 3 certificate in 'Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care.' After completing your probationary period, you will be automatically enrolled onto the NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care. Regular supervision and appraisal meetings will allow you to discuss your training and development needs.

You must be willing to provide support with personal care and domestic tasks, as well as helping individuals access work, education, and social opportunities. We value the unique skills and interests you bring to the role and to the lives of those we support.

This is a flexible role that requires working on a roster basis, including evenings and weekends. While previous experience is desirable, we encourage candidates with a can-do attitude and gumption to apply.

A competitive salary of £22,000 - £24,000 per year (dependent on experience) makes this an attractive opportunity for those passionate about providing exceptional care and support.

Creative Support is a not-for-profit organisation committed to empowering individuals to live fulfilling lives. As a Stonewall Diversity Champion, Disability Confident Employer, and Investor in People Gold award winner, we promote inclusivity and equality in all aspects of our work.
