About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and resilient Support Professional to join our team at Look Ahead. In this rewarding role, you will provide high-quality support to our customers with enduring mental health issues, helping them to thrive in their daily lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on a rota-based shift pattern, including early and late shifts, to provide support to our customers.
  • Support customers with dignity and respect, assisting them with daily tasks, social activities, and medication.
  • Undertake key-working responsibilities, including initial and continuous assessments of needs and potential risks.
  • Develop and maintain links with local community agencies and service providers to ensure our customers receive the support they need.

About You:

We are looking for someone who is fundamentally calm and resilient, with a practical and logical mind and a naturally well-organized approach. You will be confident with high levels of self-esteem, respectful, articulate, and sensitive in your style of communication. You will be customer-focused, motivated towards excellence, and have a 'can-do' attitude.

What You'll Bring:

We are looking for someone with up to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, or experience in the social care/charity sector. Experience working in mental health is desirable.
