Job Description:
- We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team on a long-term basis. The successful candidate will work closely with our student with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to provide one-to-one support and facilitate his learning experience.
- The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, patience, and a strong understanding of child development and psychology. A 1st or 2:1 degree in Psychology or a related field is essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support to our student with ASD, promoting his emotional well-being, social integration, and academic success.
- Develop and implement personalized learning plans, adapting to the student's evolving needs and interests.
- Maintain accurate records of the student's progress, collaborating with teachers and other professionals as necessary.
Requirements:
- Degree in Psychology or a related field (e.g., Child Development, Education).
- Strong understanding of child development, psychology, and behavioral theories.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
