About the Role

The Academic Support Specialist will play a crucial role in providing exceptional support to students and academics within the School of Mathematical Sciences. This 6-month fixed-term appointment offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with experience in Higher Education administration to join our team.

  • Utilizing IT skills to manage digital resources and communicate effectively with staff and students.">

Requirements

The successful candidate will possess:

  • ">
  • A Level qualifications (Grade C or above) or equivalent, along with GCSE English and Mathematics at Grade C or above;">
  • Demonstrated experience working within Higher Education or a similar administrative environment;">
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to deal with students and staff at all levels;">
  • Good IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.">

As an Academic Support Specialist, you will enjoy a competitive salary of £33,000 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance, as well as access to a generous pension scheme, 30 days' leave per annum (pro-rata for part-time/fixed-term), and opportunities for personal and professional development.
