Executive Support Specialist

As a highly skilled Executive Support Specialist, you will provide comprehensive administrative and organisational support to the Director of External Relations at Queen Mary University of London. Your duties will include managing the Director's diary, supporting with budget management, and contributing to various projects and activities.
This is a full-time, fixed-term contract lasting up to 12 months to cover parental leave, commencing in September 2024.
About YouYou will have experience working in a busy administrative role, possess excellent IT skills, and be adept at managing and reconciling budgets. Effective communication with staff at all levels within the University is essential.
About the DepartmentThe External Relations Directorate oversees the University's external activities, encompassing communications, marketing, widening participation, admissions, international affairs, and alumni relations and development. These activities are diverse, including organising open days, protecting the University's reputation, attracting students from under-represented backgrounds, and developing relationships with partner organisations globally.
