About You

We are seeking an Academic Researcher in Bioinformatics to join our dynamic academic team. As a key member of our Biochemistry Department, you will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality education on our undergraduate programmes.

The successful candidate will have expertise in Biochemistry and experience in teaching in silico modelling, coding, and data manipulation. A strong commitment to mentoring students and developing educational modules centred on skills acquisition and employability is essential.

We offer a range of benefits, including a competitive salary of £40,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as access to a generous pension scheme and 30 days' leave per annum.

Our School of Biological and Behavioural Sciences provides a supportive and friendly environment that encourages interdisciplinary research and collaboration.
