About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Assistant to join our team at Queen Mary University of London. The successful candidate will work with Dr. Nikola Ojkic on a BBSRC project investigating the physical mechanism of how antibiotic treatments lead to bacterial cell death.
As a Postdoctoral Research Assistant, you will contribute to the project's imaging, image analysis, mathematical modelling, and stochastic molecular dynamics simulations. You will also have the opportunity to present data and findings at national and international conferences and scientific meetings.
About You
We are looking for a candidate with a PhD in physics, biophysics, mathematics, bioengineering, bioinformatics, or computational science. Significant experience in programming, handling large datasets, stochastic simulations, image analysis, and mathematical modelling is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage and prioritise your time effectively are essential.
