About this role

As a Research Programme Director at Queen Mary University of London, you will play a key role in the management of two major programmes led by Professor Rohini Mathur in the Centre for Primary Care.

This position involves leading administrative aspects, developing project management and monitoring systems, and coordinating complex tasks. You will also support academic colleagues and students with the successful delivery of the Welcome Trust-funded Health Data in Practice PhD programme.

You will be responsible for managing budgets, reporting on expenditure and outcomes, and liaising with stakeholders across QMUL and internationally.

About the School/Department/Institute/Project

The Wolfson Institute of Population Health is a world-class grouping of scientists and educators in applied health sciences. Our vision is to drive forward research within and across disciplines to generate evidence for health system change, improve population health, and nurture social equity.

The NIHR Global Health Research Groups project aims to test a new approach to delivering healthcare results in better and fairer care for people with high blood pressure, diabetes, and kidney disease compared to routine care in Thai primary care settings.

About Queen Mary

We are committed to diversity and inclusivity in everything we do. We believe that when views collide, disciplines interact, and perspectives intersect, truly original thought takes form.

Our benefits package includes competitive salaries, access to a generous pension scheme, 30 days' leave per annum (pro-rata for part-time/fixed-term), a season ticket loan scheme, and comprehensive personal and professional development opportunities.

Estimated salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
