Job Title: Apprentice Facilities Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to join our dynamic team at Remedy Education. As the Facilities Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our school facilities, creating a safe and conducive environment for our students and staff to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and implement measures to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Fire and Major Incidents: Develop and implement emergency response plans and conduct regular fire drills to ensure the safety of students and staff.
  • Financial Accountability: Manage the school's facilities budget and ensure that all expenses are properly accounted for.
  • School Management: Collaborate with school administrators to develop and implement facilities management strategies that align with the school's goals and objectives.
  • People Management: Supervise and train facilities staff to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Project Management: Plan and execute facilities projects, including renovations, repairs, and maintenance, to ensure that the school's facilities are well-maintained and up-to-date.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in facilities management, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
