Operations Director

Universal Business Team is seeking an experienced Operations Director to oversee all aspects of our company's operations from order to delivery.
About the Role:- Develop and Implement Strategies: Create operational strategies to increase capacity, drive growth, and achieve business objectives.
- Manage Daily Operations: Oversee design, purchasing, scheduling, project management, and installations to ensure seamless coordination.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimisations.
- Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of operations professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators and metrics, developing action plans for improvement.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other functional leaders to ensure operations are aligned with overall business goals.
- Proven Track Record: At least 5 years of experience in an operations or general management role within a fast-paced, construction-related project management business.
- Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent Leadership Skills: Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Business Acumen: Deep understanding of business operations and best practices.
- Project Management: Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
- Organisational Skills: Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Steel Fabrication Experience: Beneficial but not essential.

Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 per annum (negotiable depending on experience)
Benefits: 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays, Bonus after probation period, profit share scheme starting 2025
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (with flexibility and occasional out-of-hours work)
