Role Summary
PartnersHealth is seeking a skilled Clinical Associate Practitioner to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive patient care through clinical evaluation, examination, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing assessment of care. Services will be provided through both in-person and virtual consultations.
Our organization is a well-established healthcare provider serving a diverse patient population. We pride ourselves on our collaborative environment, which includes a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and allied health staff.
We currently have a successful team of Clinical Associate Practitioners, and we are looking to expand our workforce to enhance our patient care services. The role will involve supporting the clinical team in managing patient demands effectively.
Key Responsibilities
The Clinical Associate Practitioner will:
- Provide high-quality patient care utilizing extensive theoretical knowledge and evidence-based practices under the guidance of a supervising physician.
- Manage a diverse clinical caseload, addressing the needs of patients in a primary care environment.
- Conduct consultations for both urgent and routine health issues, including the management of chronic conditions.
- Initiate necessary diagnostic tests and interpret results within the scope of practice, discussing findings with patients.
- Collaborate with the wider healthcare team to deliver integrated, patient-centered care.
- Participate in home visits and contribute to on-call duties as required.
- Engage in health promotion and disease prevention initiatives.
- Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with organizational policies.
- Participate in continuous professional development and training to uphold clinical governance standards.
Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A relevant degree prior to entering the Clinical Associate Practitioner program.
- A postgraduate diploma or master's degree in Clinical Associate Practice from an accredited institution.
- Certification from the national examination for Clinical Associates.
- Experience working in a clinical setting, demonstrating the ability to manage a variety of health conditions.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
