Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Inclusion and Equity Advisor to join our team. This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about promoting equality and fairness for disabled individuals, particularly those with cerebral palsy.

Employment Type:
Permanent, part-time position, requiring 28 hours of work per week. Flexibility is essential as some evening and weekend commitments may arise.

Key Responsibilities:
As the Inclusion and Equity Advisor, you will:

  • Serve as the regional representative for cerebral palsy, actively participating in forums and community groups to foster collaboration and share insights.
  • Provide expert advice and support to disabled individuals, their families, and professionals regarding cerebral palsy, aligning with our organizational strategy.
  • Engage with various stakeholders to raise awareness and understanding of the challenges faced by disabled individuals.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • In-depth knowledge of current issues impacting disabled individuals, particularly those with cerebral palsy.
  • Experience in overcoming societal barriers faced by disabled individuals, demonstrating a commitment to improving their lives.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively engage with diverse groups and individuals.
