Job Summary

This is a challenging opportunity for a diligent and detail-oriented Payroll Advisor to join our team at Page Personnel Finance. As a key member of our payroll department, you will be responsible for processing and managing payroll transactions with precision and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Payroll Processing: Accurately and efficiently process payroll transactions, ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and company payroll requirements.
  • Payroll Reconciliations: Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance department for payroll reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Payroll Queries: Address payroll-related queries from staff in a timely and professional manner, providing excellent customer service.
  • Year-End Reports: Assist in the preparation of year-end reports and statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Confidentiality and Security: Maintain confidentiality and security of payroll records, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the payroll function, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
  • Ad-Hoc Tasks: Support the wider team with ad-hoc tasks as required, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to assist.
Requirements
  • Payroll Knowledge: Strong understanding and knowledge of payroll processes, including compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Payroll Software: Proficiency in using payroll software, including data entry and reconciliation.
  • Numerical Skills: Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in payroll processing.
  • Confidentiality: Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and data security, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, providing excellent customer service and working effectively with colleagues.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to problem-solving, identifying and resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner.
