Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Lead to join our client's team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. As a Payroll Lead, you will be responsible for managing monthly payrolls across the UK and international groups, prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and KPIs, and overseeing all deductions, including tax, NI, and SSP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the processing of monthly payrolls for UK and international groups
- Prioritize workload to ensure timely completion of tasks and meet deadlines
- Oversee all deductions, including tax, NI, and SSP, as well as year-end duties
- Collaborate with internal departments, such as HR, to provide data and reports
- Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and deadlines
- Lead and support a team of Payroll Clerks, providing guidance and coaching as needed
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in a senior, end-to-end payroll role
- Experience running international payrolls is desirable
- Level 3 CIPP qualification is desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong Excel and systems skills
