The Portfolio Group is seeking a highly skilled Global Payroll Lead to join their team. As a key member of the global payroll team, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance on international payroll legislation, particularly in the USA, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
This is a 12-18 month recurring contract opportunity that requires a strong understanding of international payroll processes and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide subject matter expertise on international payroll to the global payroll team and other stakeholders.
- Assist the team with escalated queries and provide timely resolutions.
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure seamless delivery of payroll services.
- Troubleshoot current issues and areas of development to improve payroll processes.
- Develop and provide reports and advice to senior management on payroll-related matters.
- Make recommendations to improve payroll processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with the global payroll team and wider management to develop solutions to complex payroll issues.
- Produce reports for senior management on payroll-related matters.
Desirable Skills and Attributes:
- Proven experience as an international or global payroll specialist or manager.
- Comprehensive understanding of payroll functions in international countries.
- Experience of collaborating with different departments and stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience of automation, continuous improvement, and system migration.
