Job Summary

We are seeking a Payroll Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring new starters are updated to excel spreadsheets daily, sending relevant new starter information to payroll companies, and collating contractor hours onto timesheets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure new starters are updated to excel spreadsheets daily
  • Send all relevant new starter information to payroll companies
  • Collate contractor hours onto timesheets and send to clients for authorization
  • Create, send, and chase timesheets for all divisions
  • Input hours onto excel spreadsheets and payroll system
  • Ensure all rates on candidate bookings are current and changed when necessary
  • Export payroll reports daily to be sent to internal payroll team for processing of payments and invoices
  • Create reports of weekly queries and late timesheets
  • Advising candidates of late payments
  • Send holidays and P45 requests to payroll team for processing
  • Send new starter packs to PAYE contractors and liaise with internal payroll team to ensure set up
  • Answer and resolve telephone and email payroll queries from contractors
  • Answer and resolve queries received from clients, payroll companies, internal payroll departments, and recruitment teams
  • Liaise with all parties to resolve any complaints that arise
  • Assist with other projects that may arise within the business

Requirements

  • Confident and able to handle being around and working with big personalities
  • Good degree of written communication as will be emailing clients, candidates, and various contacts within the company and suppliers
  • Calm, methodical, and good attention to detail
  • Previous work experience would be advantageous but not necessary if the person has the tenacity and outward personality
