Senior Payroll Specialist / £50,000 - £70,000 + Car Allowance / Hybrid / 12 Month Fixed-Term Contract

About the Role:

We are working with a reputable business in the Liverpool City Centre for a Senior Payroll Specialist to join their team on a 12 month fixed-term contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of monthly payrolls across UK and international groups, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Prioritization of workload to meet deadlines and key performance indicators (KPIs) within the group.
  • Overseeing all deductions, including tax, National Insurance, Statutory Sick Pay, etc., as well as year-end duties.
  • Collaboration with internal departments, such as Human Resources, to provide data and reports.
  • Ensuring all HMRC submissions are made according to deadlines.
  • Leading a team of Payroll Clerks, providing support and coaching where needed throughout the payroll process.
  • Additional ad-hoc duties as required.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a senior, end-to-end payroll role.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
