About the Role: RM Recruit is pleased to collaborate with a vibrant organization in the non-profit sector, seeking a dedicated and articulate Accounts Support Specialist to enhance their team on a permanent, term-time basis, working 37 hours per week.

Flexible Working: This position offers a hybrid working model, allowing for 2-3 days of remote work each week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directly report to the Finance Manager and ensure the effective provision of financial assistance to the organization.
  • Manage the processing of purchase orders, invoices, and BACS payments utilizing the organization's financial system.
  • Conduct reconciliations of bank and purchase card accounts.
  • Oversee the processing and reconciliation of journals, including payroll journals, to maintain control accounts.
  • Support audit processes and assist with month-end and year-end financial activities.
  • Maintain and update the fixed asset register and inventory records.
  • Foster strong and effective working relationships with all staff members and finance team colleagues.
  • Deliver high-quality service to all stakeholders, including students, staff, parents, and other users.

Candidate Profile: The ideal applicant will possess part AAT qualification and have relevant experience in a similar capacity. The successful candidate will undergo an enhanced DBS check.
