Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team at Macildowie Recruitment and Retention. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support and coordination of technical issues to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist and support the management team in ensuring that technical issues are promptly triaged and resolved within Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Collaborate with the Service Desk Manager to ensure seamless support and escalation of technical issues
  • Run reports to monitor key support activities and take appropriate actions to improve service delivery
  • Promptly escalate critical technical issues to the relevant teams
  • Review previous day's reporting and calls to identify any technical issues or areas for improvement
  • Develop and update communication plans for new and existing clients as required
  • Assist and support the management team with ad-hoc Service Desk management when senior colleagues are on leave or absent
  • Coordinate customer satisfaction survey feedback, organizing information and identifying areas for improvement
  • Perform general administrative tasks

Essential Requirements:

  • Proven experience in customer service and administration
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office packages
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience working with ticketing systems or call log systems would be highly advantageous
  • A keen interest in the IT sector
