We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Obsidian. As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our financial advisors and ensuring the smooth operation of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to our financial advisors, including coordinating client meetings, processing transactions, and maintaining accurate records.
- Maintain effective relationships with clients, colleagues, and third-party firms, ensuring excellent communication and customer service.
- Process client requests, including fund switches and withdrawal requests, in a timely and efficient manner.
- Coordinate and produce client valuations as part of the advice delivery process.
- Maintain client records in accordance with internal compliance requirements.
- Prioritize workload to ensure all activities are timely, compliant, and conducted in a manner that will meet the agreed performance standards and deliver outstanding service to clients.
- Maintain an awareness of, and act in accordance with, all compliance and legislative obligations.
- Communicate and liaise with other company departments.
Requirements:
- Have either worked within an IFA administration or financial adviser support role.
- A proven strong ethic of client service.
- Organisation and prioritisation skills, being able to work independently and within a team.
- An understanding and good working knowledge around pensions and investments.
- Professional telephone manner along with excellent written communication skills, to have an eye for detail.
- Proficiency in working with back-office systems and Microsoft Office.
