Regional Development Director Opportunity

Ardonagh Advisory is seeking an experienced insurance professional to join our leadership team as a Regional Development Director. This is a unique chance for an ambitious individual with a proven record to drive growth and improvement in our regional sales and retention strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective sales and development plans to grow sales and improve client retention
  • Work closely with Regional Directors and Branch Directors to deliver the Advisory General Insurance sales and retention strategy
  • Lead on the divisional marketing and sponsorship strategy, engaging key stakeholders and ensuring buy-in
  • Support regional sales meetings and events, sales days, conferences, and specialisms to drive business performance
  • Contribute to the design of new business and cross-sales/up-sales strategies for the division and region
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of creating and developing plans to grow sales and improve client retention within a regulatory framework
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills across a scaled and multiple-site UK brokerage
  • Commercial focus and financial awareness, including understanding of the external market, company performance, and market intelligence
  • Leadership skills, including driving new ideas and innovation, and resilience in the face of challenges
  • Flexibility to travel, with the ability to attend meetings and events, including overnight stays
