About the Role

Simpson Judge Ltd is seeking a highly skilled D365 Business Central Salesperson to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and revenue through effective lead generation, prospecting, and conversion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with our marketing team to develop and execute targeted campaigns and engagement strategies.
  • Respond to incoming leads from various sources, including marketing activity and existing customers.
  • Utilize our CRM system to manage and segment our database, ensuring effective prospecting throughout the sales lifecycle.
  • Create and manage lead generation funnels aligned with business priorities, capacity, and demand.
  • Develop and execute personalized approaches to convert prospects into qualified leads.
  • Educate prospects on the benefits of Microsoft ERP & CRM solutions.
  • Gather business intelligence on each qualified lead, including budget, timelines, potential competitors, and business requirements.
  • Convert leads into prospects through responsive, helpful, and informative interactions.
  • Connect with, call, or visit prospects to identify sales opportunities.
  • Develop detailed proposals and present them to prospects in person or through other means.
  • Follow up on proposals and update our administration system with a history of contact.
  • Negotiate proposals and pursue them to closure wherever possible.
  • Work with our admin team to obtain formal sales orders.
  • Perform handovers of successful sales to our project team.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Knowledge of the manufacturing, distribution, and warehousing industries.
  • General understanding of IT.
  • At least 2 years of ERP sales experience.
