About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Deputy Manager to join our team at Bupa Care Services. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and assist all aspects of nursing care and activities within the home.
  • Create and update individual care plans for our residents, maintaining clear, accurate, and up-to-date medication records.
  • Ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained through efficient management of rotas.
  • Provide day-to-day support and guidance to the team, promoting residents' independence, choice, and dignity.
  • Build lasting relationships with residents and their families, as well as fostering a sense of community within the home.
  • Liaise with local partners to raise the care home's profile in the local area and beyond.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin and commitment to the NMC Codes of Conduct and professional development.
  • Resident-centric approach, understanding the impact of quality nursing care on residents' lives.
  • Clinical knowledge, up to date with tissue viability, infection control, and care planning.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, able to build relationships, lead, mentor, and manage a team effectively.
  • Time management skills, able to prioritize tasks and work efficiently as a compassionate team player.
