About the Role

Binnies, an RSK Group company, is seeking a Health, Safety and Wellbeing Manager to join our @one Alliance team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive health and safety strategy for the alliance, ensuring accurate and relevant data is used to inform decision-making.
  • Collaborate with project delivery teams to ensure safety at work and on site, investigating incidents and reporting to stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Establish and maintain central alliance procedures and policies, ensuring compliance with partner and Anglian Water safety rules and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with current legislation, best practices, and statutory requirements, and communicate changes to the team.
  • Implement inspection systems and ensure each construction site is inspected regularly.
  • Enhance health and safety awareness through training, briefings, and initiatives, driving continuous improvement in safe operating procedures.
  • Lead a team to develop a first-class health, safety, and wellbeing facility across the alliance.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess substantial experience in health and safety management in a design and construction environment, holding a NEBOSH Diploma and Graduate IOSH or higher membership level qualifications.

You will be an experienced people manager with a clear and open communication style, passionate about the safety and wellbeing of a workforce. You will be influential in championing the importance of health and safety in our day-to-day operations and culture.
