DM Safety & Health Services Limited is a reputable independent consultancy specializing in Health & Safety, established in the Northwest. Since its inception in 2008, the firm has experienced significant growth by providing high-quality HSE services across various industries.
Position Summary
We are seeking to enhance our team with a freelance Health & Safety trainer who possesses extensive experience and relevant accreditation to conduct Scaffold Training throughout the UK.
Given the nature of the role, candidates must be prepared to travel and occasionally stay overnight. The current requirement is for 2-4 days of training per month, subject to change based on demand.
Candidate Profile:
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Scaffold trainer with the capability to present training content effectively and professionally.
- Familiarity with TG20, SG4, and Manual Handling practices in Scaffold Operations, as well as knowledge of System Scaffold types (e.g., HAKI, Layher, Cuplok).
- CITB Site Safety Plus (Approved Tutor Certificate) or a commitment to obtain this certification.
- Adult Teaching Qualification (AET) or equivalent, or a willingness to pursue this qualification.
- Demonstrated competency and experience in the relevant field.
Personal Attributes:
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with both workforce and management.
- Experience in delivering tailored, client-specific training programs.
- Exceptional time management abilities.
- Capability to manage commitments and time efficiently.
- Excellent relationship-building skills.
- Willingness to travel, including occasional overnight stays.
