Job Title: Health and Safety Manager
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Manager to join our team at Assured Safety Recruitment Ltd. As a Health and Safety Manager, you will be responsible for promoting a positive health and safety culture and providing direction for health and safety within our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advice, guidance, and support to employees and volunteers on all health, safety, and risk management matters.
- Work with key stakeholders in the planning and preparation of events, outdoor activities, and educational events to ensure appropriate health and safety measures are implemented.
- Identify, develop, and maintain a program of health and safety training for staff and volunteers.
- Coordinate health and safety monitoring and performance, reporting to the Leadership Team and to the Board.
- Lead on the inspections of all buildings, plant, and public facilities to ensure appropriate recording and monitoring procedures, ensuring any required remedial works or actions are implemented.
- Ensure that fire plans, fire risk assessments, and business continuity plans are produced and kept up to date to reflect changes in personnel or process.
- Review existing policy and practices relating to safeguarding and provide support in its development.
About You:
We are looking for a candidate with a minimum qualification of Nebosh Certificate or equivalent Level 3 qualification in health and safety. Previous experience as a Health and Safety Manager or Advisor in a multi-site environment or for a multifaceted organization is required. Previous experience working for an organization with outdoor spaces or similar is ideal, but not essential. If you are enthusiastic about outdoor spaces and events, wildlife, and creating sustainable environments, we would welcome your application.
Requirements:
