About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Homelessness Advocate to join our team at Coram Voice. As a Homelessness Advocate, you will play a critical role in providing direct advocacy support to children and young people experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct advocacy support to children and young people, holding a caseload and championing their rights.
  • Support the development of high-quality services and projects delivered by Coram Voice to children and young people, including the Homelessness Outreach Project.
  • Contribute to the promotion of good practice across Coram Voice and external organizations, building equitable and inclusive practice for homeless children and young people.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience working with children and young people, with a suitable Advocacy Qualification.
  • Ability to work with a broad range of stakeholders and agencies to support children and young people.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with children, young people, and professionals.
  • Commitment to championing the rights of children and young people, particularly those experiencing homelessness.
