About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Coordinator for Homelessness Prevention to join our team at Shared Services Partnership. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in designing and delivering innovative solutions to prevent homelessness in our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively manage and coordinate the delivery of our homelessness prevention services, engaging with stakeholders to design and deliver a range of solutions.
  • Work with commissioned and contract services to administer the provision of housing and support pathways for individuals who are homeless or rough sleeping.
  • Manage the delivery of move-on accommodation to help individuals achieve independence and meet our prevention objectives.
  • Develop comprehensive programs of support to address poverty, disadvantage, unemployment, health, mental health, and well-being.
  • Implement and manage the delivery of commissioning and procurement contracts to streamline, structure, and optimize the delivery model across the service.
  • Ensure performance data on all commissioned services is in place and highlight any remedial or corrective actions needed.
  • Act as an effective ambassador and advocate with external organizations, managing partnership working and developing a commissioning strategy that forges strong relationships with stakeholders.
About You

We are looking for a skilled manager with substantial experience of leading and developing a similar service in a multi-disciplined organization. You will have a successful track record of business planning, budget management, and project delivery. You should have well-developed knowledge of the issues facing local government and the legal, financial, and political context of public sector management.

You will be a passionate and driven individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to inspire and motivate team members to high levels of performance. You will be a role model for self-development, investing time in your own progress and encouraging colleagues to do the same.
