Role Overview:

As a Key Account Manager for Oncology, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of our oncology and haematology portfolio. Based in London, you will be responsible for managing and expanding key accounts, building strategic relationships, and ensuring the effective promotion and adoption of our industry-leading products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals and institutions, to drive business growth and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Strategic Planning: Design and implement strategic account plans that align with our company's goals and market opportunities to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Market Insight: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new opportunities and address potential challenges effectively.
  • Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including medical affairs, marketing, and sales, to ensure coordinated efforts and successful execution of strategies.
  • Customer Engagement: Deliver impactful presentations, product demonstrations, and educational sessions to increase product awareness and foster strong partnerships.
  • Reporting: Provide detailed reports on account performance, sales metrics, and market developments to senior management, offering actionable insights for strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Proven track record in key account management within the pharmaceutical industry, with specific experience in oncology. Demonstrated success in managing complex accounts and achieving sales objectives.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of oncology and haematology, including current trends, treatment options, and competitive landscape.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building and sustaining professional relationships.
  • Education: A degree in life sciences, pharmacy, business, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications related to oncology or haematology are advantageous.
  • Location: Based in London, with a willingness to travel as required.
