Position Overview

London Business School is seeking a Senior Administrative Coordinator to support our Associate Dean of Advancement. This role is pivotal in overseeing the Advancement department, which focuses on fundraising initiatives and alumni relations.

As the Senior Coordinator, you will adeptly manage various tasks simultaneously while fostering and nurturing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. A high level of organization and professionalism is essential, as is the ability to engage with senior leadership effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organizing the schedule, travel arrangements, and logistical needs for the Associate Dean of Advancement, ensuring that meetings, visits, and international trips are aligned with significant fundraising efforts and high-level stakeholder interactions, often in collaboration with the Dean, the Chair of the Governing Body, the Campaign Chair, and other senior figures within the institution.
  • Overseeing the communication flow and briefings from the department, managing sensitive and confidential information, and working closely with the Dean's Office.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar operational support role.
  • Exceptional organizational and planning skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Competent project management capabilities.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and devise effective solutions.
  • Advanced skills in relationship building and stakeholder management.
  • Familiarity with databases and applications that enhance EA services.
  • A positive demeanor with assertiveness when necessary.
  • Demonstrated capacity to handle confidential information appropriately.
  • Knowledge of fundraising, alumni relations, or the higher education sector is advantageous.
