Sustainability Program Manager

The Smartlist is on the lookout for a dedicated Sustainability Program Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving our commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable practices.

As the Sustainability Program Manager, you will oversee the environmental impact of our operations, ensuring compliance with both local and international environmental regulations. Your expertise will guide the organization in evaluating its current practices and enhancing sustainability initiatives for the future.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and implement strategies aimed at identifying and improving sustainability performance.
  • Prepare comprehensive proposals, budgets, and reports related to sustainability for evaluation by senior management and stakeholders.
  • Establish and enforce organizational policies and practices that promote sustainability across all departments.
  • Conduct research on environmental sustainability issues, assess alternatives, and recommend actions to the executive team.
  • Create methodologies to evaluate the effectiveness and success of sustainability initiatives.
  • Design policies and procedures to monitor and assess the impact of sustainability programs.
  • Launch a sustainability program to ensure adherence to environmental regulations.
  • Generate sustainability reports, presentations, and employee guidance to foster compliance and drive change.

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Environmental Health and Safety, or a related discipline. A strong background in Environmental Sustainability and Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) risk management is essential, along with a proven track record in developing and executing sustainability strategies.

A valid driving license is required for this position.
