The Smartlist is on the lookout for a dedicated Sustainability Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the environmental impact and resource management strategies within our organization.
Your primary responsibility will be to assess our current environmental footprint and devise innovative strategies to enhance our sustainable practices, ensuring compliance with both local and international environmental regulations.
As a Sustainability Operations Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Formulating and implementing strategies aimed at identifying and improving sustainability initiatives.
- Preparing comprehensive proposals, budgets, and reports related to sustainability for evaluation by senior management and stakeholders.
- Establishing and enforcing organizational policies and practices that promote sustainability across the organization.
- Conducting research on environmental sustainability challenges and opportunities, evaluating options, and presenting actionable recommendations to leadership.
- Creating methodologies to assess the effectiveness and success of sustainability programs.
- Developing policies and procedures to monitor and evaluate the impact of sustainability initiatives.
- Executing a sustainability program to ensure adherence to environmental regulations.
- Generating sustainability reports, presentations, and employee guidance to facilitate organizational change and compliance.
Applicants should possess a degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Environmental Health and Safety, or a related discipline, along with experience in Environmental Sustainability or Health, Safety, and Environmental risk management. A proven history of developing and executing sustainability strategies is essential.
A valid driving license is required for this position.
