Job Title: Program Management Specialist

Symmetry Recruitment is excited to present a remarkable opportunity for a seasoned Program Management Specialist to become part of a leading Social Enterprise Organization.

Position Overview

  • Employment Type: Full-time (37 hours/week, 5 days)
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid (remote/1 day a week in the office)
  • Annual Leave: 25 days plus public holidays
  • Pension Scheme: 10% Stakeholder post-probation
  • Compensation: £37,500 - £42,000 (commensurate with experience)
  • Travel Requirements: Occasional travel within designated regions (mileage reimbursed at 45p/mile)

Organizational Structure

  • Reports To: Board of Directors
  • Supervises: Business Support Project personnel and collaborators

Core Objectives

  • Collaborate with team members to strengthen the social enterprise's capabilities across the region.
  • Enhance and maintain the organization's standing within the business support network, ensuring future contract acquisition.
  • Guide the team in achieving business support service objectives while fulfilling operational and financial benchmarks.
  • Deliver performance updates to the board of directors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the execution and sustainability of business support services.
  • Manage the development and performance of project staff.
  • Engage with service contract managers and partners.
  • Participate in strategic meetings to elevate business support visibility.
  • Establish an effective management framework for projects in alignment with contracts and policies.
  • Monitor project outcomes, quality, and risks, ensuring adherence to compliance standards.
  • Contribute to marketing and communication initiatives for projects.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Robust business insight and project management expertise.
  • Highly driven, with the capability to lead and prioritize workloads effectively.
  • Skilled in data analysis, reporting, and forecasting.
  • Exceptional communication, time management, and organizational abilities.
  • Proficient in ICT, particularly in CRM systems, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in managing publicly funded projects and drafting funding proposals.

Team Collaboration & Additional Duties

  • Lead the project team and represent the organization at various events.
  • Support ongoing development and sustainability efforts, exploring funding opportunities.
