Overview of the Position

Ascenti provides a variety of healthcare solutions for numerous providers, which means that patients receive referrals for treatment from different private and public sector entities, including the NHS and private insurance firms.

The administrative duties you will perform daily in this position may vary and can involve both patient and client interactions, depending on the specific service and department you are supporting. As a Healthcare Administrative Specialist, your primary responsibilities will encompass:

  • Inputting patient referral data into Ascenti's IT workflow platform.
  • Identifying any referrals that need urgent attention or further evaluation.
  • Assessing treatment reports prepared by therapists and healthcare professionals prior to forwarding them to the client.
  • Drafting correspondence, managing incoming calls, and processing outbound communications with therapists, business clients, and public sector entities.
  • Executing tasks on our workflow system according to client specifications.
  • Addressing inquiries from our Physiotherapy team to ensure a smooth patient experience.
  • Keeping clients informed about their patients' care through managed communication channels.
  • Coordinating and overseeing third-party providers when direct care cannot be delivered.

Working Hours

As a full-time Office Coordinator, you will work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a 30-minute lunch break. Your hours can be discussed to establish a shift pattern that accommodates both your needs and those of the business.
