JOB TITLE: Senior Physiotherapist in Musculoskeletal and Rheumatology Care

BAND: Band 7

BASE: Primary location will be within the healthcare facilities, with necessary travel between various sites.

HOURS: Full-time hours per week

REPORTS TO: Clinical Team Leader in Therapy

ACCOUNTABLE TO: Therapy Specialty Lead through the Clinical Team Leader

Main Responsibilities

An exceptional opportunity exists for a registered Physiotherapist to become a key member of our team as a Senior Physiotherapist specializing in Musculoskeletal and Rheumatology care.

The selected individual will be tasked with the evaluation, treatment, and management of a diverse adult musculoskeletal patient population, employing advanced clinical skills, enhanced clinical reasoning, and informed decision-making. Proficiency in assessing, treating, and rehabilitating adult musculoskeletal disorders, including trauma, post-surgical cases, chronic conditions, and soft tissue injuries, is essential for guiding treatment and patient management strategies.

This role will specifically focus on rheumatology and haematology services, which includes participation in specialized clinics, as well as providing vital clinical leadership within the physiotherapy outpatient teams.

Additionally, this position will entail offering clinical oversight for hydrotherapy services, contingent upon the availability of pool access.

  • Provide care in adult musculoskeletal physiotherapy outpatient settings
  • Engage in specialized clinics for rheumatology and haematology
  • Deliver clinical leadership for hydrotherapy services, subject to pool access
