The University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physiotherapist to join its Rotational Physiotherapy Band 5 scheme. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Physiotherapist to develop their clinical skills and experience in a variety of speciality areas within the trust.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality physiotherapy care to patients as part of a responsive and patient-centered service.
- Manage an autonomous clinical caseload and undertake duties as a qualified Physiotherapist, under the supervision of senior staff.
- Evidence competency and effective clinical reasoning in the delivery of physiotherapy services.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care for patients.
- Develop and maintain knowledge and skills within the specialism, staying up-to-date with local and national issues affecting patient care.
- Support the development of colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.
- BSc Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification.
- GCSE English and Maths to grade 4 (C) or equivalent.
- HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist.
- Member of a professional body such as the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (desirable).
- Varied clinical experience as a student or Band 5 Physiotherapist.
- Awareness of how therapy is provided in the NHS.
- Acute hospital experience (desirable).
- Experience of working within a team and contributing to a positive team environment.
- Able to demonstrate Trust values and evidence of working in a way supportive of these values.
- Excellent written communication skills and ability to use IT within a clinical setting.
- Ability to prioritize workload and maintain accurate records.
