Specialist Rotational Stroke and Neuro Physiotherapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Specialist Rotational Stroke and Neuro Physiotherapist to join our team at Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust. This is a rare opportunity to gain a highly sought-after band 6 rotational post specialising in Neurology and Stroke.
Main Responsibilities- Work alongside highly skilled clinical specialist staff from the multidisciplinary team (MDT) and be supported by a Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist within each of the rotations.
- Develop your skills in each area and become part of the team through a structured support network and regular supervision and appraisals.
- Participate in a training programme in place in each rotational area and a comprehensive induction package.
- Take an active role in your Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to develop your skills within this specialty.
- Support and train less experienced staff and be a clinical educator to students from various universities.
The rotations are 12 months long and will allow you to develop your skills in each area. You will work in a variety of healthcare settings, including Acute Stroke, Stroke Rehabilitation, Early Supported Discharge Service (ESDS), Specialist Neurological Rehab Unit, Brain Injury Unit, Community Integrated Neurology and Stroke Service (CINSS), and Acute Neurology.
Requirements- A basic respiratory skill set is desirable, but training will be offered as required.
- A UK driving licence and the ability to use a car for work purposes are required for the CINSS and ESDS rotations.
