Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physiotherapist to join our team at the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust. As a Rotational Respiratory Physiotherapist, you will be working across two sites, Leicester Royal Infirmary and Glenfield Hospital, providing high-quality care to patients with respiratory conditions.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage a complex clinical caseload from assessment to discharge or transfer of care, ensuring timely and safe discharge from hospital.
  • Plan, deliver, and progress treatment interventions using clinical reasoning and decision-making skills to achieve identified patient goals.
  • Facilitate annual appraisal and personal development planning for relevant members of the Physiotherapy Team.
  • Participate in the induction of Physiotherapy Staff.
About the Role

This is a permanent position that forms part of the cross-site respiratory rotation between Leicester Royal Infirmary and Glenfield Hospital. You will be working alongside an established team of Physiotherapists to develop your clinical, leadership, teaching, and service development skills.

Requirements
  • Diploma/BSc/MSc physiotherapy
  • HCPC Registration
  • Recent significant clinical experience at a band 5
  • Postgraduate experience in a relevant clinical area
