About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in the assessment and treatment of patients in the emergency department and medical wards.

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Assessing and treating patients with a variety of conditions, including frail older adults, fractures, falls, and cognitive impairment.
  • Liaising closely with the multidisciplinary team, patients, relatives, and carers to ensure effective communication and care.
  • Working collaboratively with a supportive team of Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists to provide high-quality care.
  • Participating in service development, audit, and research within the team to promote personal development and excellence.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A BSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification.
  • HCPC registration.
  • Varied clinical experience as a student or Band 5 Physiotherapist.
  • Experience of working within a team and delegating work to support staff.
  • Demonstrated commitment to the Trust's values and evidence of non-verbal communication skills.
