About the Role
The University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust is seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our Clinical Support and Imaging Clinical Management Group. As a Physiotherapist in this role, you will be responsible for assessing and treating patients in the emergency department and medical wards.
Main Responsibilities
- Assess and treat patients with a variety of conditions, including frail older adults, fractures, falls, and cognitive impairment.
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care and support to patients.
- Develop and implement treatment plans to promote patient independence and functional ability.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
- BSc Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification.
- HCPC registration.
- Varied clinical experience as a student or Band 5 Physiotherapist.
- Experience of working within a team and delegating work to support staff.
- Demonstrates Trust values and evidence of non-verbal communication skills.
