Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled and experienced physiotherapist to join our specialist Pelvic Health Team at University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust. As a Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist, you will play a key role in providing expert care to patients with complex pelvic health needs.
Main Responsibilities
As a Senior Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for leading and developing clinical practice within the Pelvic Health Service. This will include providing clinical leadership to physiotherapy colleagues, evaluating and developing clinical standards, and ensuring compliance with national and local guidelines.
About the Role
You will work closely with the existing Pelvic Health Physiotherapy team and the wider multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients. Your expertise will be essential in developing and implementing evidence-based practice, and you will be responsible for promoting the application of evidence-based practice at every opportunity.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have significant postgraduate clinical experience within a relevant specialist area, and previous employment as a senior therapist in a relevant specialist area. You will also need to demonstrate specialist skills and knowledge in the relevant clinical area, and evidence of experience of managing and leading a team.
