Position Overview:

As a Human Resources Recruitment Specialist at Frazer Jones, you will play a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive recruitment support for both graduate and lateral hires, alongside general HR and project assistance. This position encompasses the management of the entire recruitment lifecycle, onboarding processes, and employee development initiatives within a vibrant legal environment. This role presents a unique opportunity to significantly influence the HR function within a distinguished law firm while enhancing your professional skills.

Core Responsibilities:

Graduate Recruitment, Onboarding & Development:

  • Address inquiries related to graduate recruitment and assist in recruitment activities, such as law fairs, campus events, and assessment days.
  • Oversee work experience programs, ensuring effective scheduling and a positive candidate experience.
  • Manage pre-employment screening, visa applications, and the preparation of offer documentation for trainees.
  • Facilitate the induction and onboarding processes for new trainees in collaboration with the Learning & Development team.
  • Provide ongoing support for trainees through regular check-ins and feedback sessions.
  • Gather and analyze trainee review feedback and coordinate seat rotations.

Lateral Recruitment:

  • Draft job descriptions, liaise with recruitment agencies, and oversee the interview process.
  • Manage offer documentation, maintain recruitment databases, and ensure adherence to GDPR regulations.

General HR Support:

  • Compile management reports, assist with compensation research, and maintain employee records.
  • Support senior HR personnel with employee relations, investigations, and sensitive matters.
  • Engage in local and global HR projects and initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in HR within a legal or professional services context.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing the complete graduate recruitment cycle.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail, proactive mindset, and a collaborative approach.
