Position Overview:

This position encompasses managing the complete recruitment lifecycle, facilitating onboarding processes, and contributing to employee development initiatives within a dynamic legal services environment. This role presents a distinctive opportunity to significantly influence the HR function within a reputable law firm while enhancing your professional skills.

Core Responsibilities:

Graduate Recruitment, Onboarding & Development:

  • Address inquiries related to graduate recruitment and assist in recruitment events, such as law fairs and campus activities.
  • Oversee work experience initiatives, ensuring a positive candidate experience and effective scheduling.
  • Manage pre-employment screenings, visa processing, and the preparation of offer letters for trainees.
  • Coordinate the induction and onboarding procedures for new trainees in partnership with the Learning & Development team.
  • Provide ongoing support for trainees through regular engagement and check-ins.
  • Gather and evaluate feedback from trainee reviews and manage rotation schedules.

Lateral Recruitment:

  • Draft job descriptions, liaise with recruitment agencies, and facilitate the interview process.
  • Handle offer documentation, maintain recruitment records, and ensure adherence to data protection regulations.

General HR Support:

  • Compile management reports, assist with compensation analysis, and manage personnel documentation.
  • Support senior HR personnel with employee relations, investigations, and sensitive matters.
  • Engage in local and global HR projects and initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in HR within a legal or professional services context.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing the complete graduate recruitment process.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and collaborative team player.
