About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Specialist to join our team at Building Design Partnership. As an HR Generalist, you will play a key role in providing proactive and professional HR services to support the growth and development of our business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice on HR contractual issues, including probation, performance management, health and wellbeing, and employee relations.
  • Support Directors and line managers in conducting capability, grievance, and disciplinary hearings, and provide guidance on related documentation.
  • Monitor and analyze sickness absence levels, and advise employees on contractual sick pay and long-term sick leave.
  • Assist with flexible working applications and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Collaborate with HR Administrators to ensure timely completion of payroll activities and related paperwork.

Requirements

  • CIPD qualified or extensive relevant Human Resources experience.
  • Strong understanding of employment legislation and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality.
  • Team player with a strong commitment to delivering business results.
