About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Sales Executive to join our UK sales team, covering the South East region. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling all modes of freight and will come under the umbrella of either our Basildon office or London Heathrow office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head of Sales in executing their duties in support of the Managing Director's vision of the Company to become more competitive and profitable.
  • Support the Head of Sales in implementing strategy, activity, and reporting whenever required.
  • Support the Head of Sales with specific tasks centered on our efforts in the South.
  • Provide guidance and help to the sales team in the absence of the Head of Sales.
  • Sell ALPI UK Limited's services at the best possible price by calling, meeting, and building a portfolio of clients contributing to company growth in conjunction with targets and KPI's.
  • Ensure minimal risk is undertaken when negotiating new deals and contracts.
  • Sell services by meeting customers off-site at least 3 days per week.
  • Increase sales in line with targets and KPI's.
  • Report and record sales pipeline activities.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years working experience in sales, within the freight industry.
  • Demonstrate high-quality communication skills along with good presentation skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft packages especially Excel as well as have general PC knowledge.
  • Must be flexible with their working hours, with the ability to work from home.
