About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Manager to join our team at New City College. As a key member of our estates services team, you will be responsible for the operational delivery of hard and soft facilities management services at our Ardleigh Green Campus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the campus space, optimizing the learning environment and utilizing both teaching and non-teaching accommodation.
  • Lead on capital investment in the physical estate and manage adaptation, alteration, refurbishment, and improvement projects.
  • Develop and implement effective health, safety, energy, and environmental management systems, procedures, and processes.
  • Support the Group Director Estates in providing comprehensive and appropriate health and safety management systems.
  • Manage the operational delivery of hard and soft FM services, including cleaning, catering, and security contracts.
Requirements
  • Relevant professional qualifications and extensive experience in facilities management, health and safety, and building services engineering.
  • Proven track record of leading high-quality teams and delivering exceptional value and customer service.
  • Ability to demonstrate substantial experience in building and building services engineering, management of BMS systems, change and contract management.
