We are currently seeking a Strategic Service Accounts Manager - EMEA to operate across EUROPE.

The Strategic Service Accounts Manager will be responsible for driving growth in service sales and profitability for designated accounts, working towards established short- and long-term objectives, and ensuring that Vertiv remains the preferred partner throughout the entire product lifecycle.

In collaboration with Strategic Account Managers and Directors, you will oversee the relationship with assigned strategic accounts, focusing on long-term engagement while managing the service account planning and review processes. You will represent the company in interactions with stakeholders from these accounts.

Your responsibilities will include implementing a service sales strategy that aligns with Vertiv's overall objectives, collaborating with colleagues, local service organizations, and other internal teams to exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for achieving service sales targets for assigned accounts.
  • Foster long-term relationships with accounts to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Proactively identify commercial and technical needs, analyze root causes, and propose both short- and long-term solutions.
  • Develop and manage service account plans and activity plans, leading service business development initiatives for the medium term.
  • Oversee the sales of all service pillars in conjunction with Strategic Account Managers.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Account Manager to ensure a unified approach to customer engagement.
  • Monitor market trends, identify new business opportunities, and drive service action plans.
  • Ensure compliance with the Company Code of Conduct and Trade Compliance in all activities.

To excel in this role, you should possess industry experience, strong commercial insight, and the ability to cultivate robust internal networks within the Vertiv community. Achieving your targets will require effective coordination across various business segments to meet customer needs, making strong communication skills essential. Additionally, you should have the technical knowledge to comprehend the full range of Vertiv's service and product offerings.

Service sales represent a vital revenue stream for Vertiv, and we are looking for a competent, driven, and ambitious individual to fulfill this role within our organization.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or Economics.
  • A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in service management or service sales.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Exceptional business negotiation skills and ability to build relationships.
  • Highly developed communication abilities.
  • Knowledge of the competitive landscape within the segment.
